There are two ways to enjoy the Santa Barbara wine scene. There are numerous tasting rooms located in town or book a trip to Santa Ynez Valley.
Tasting Rooms in Town
Most of the tasting rooms offer a tasting of several wines or you can purchase a glass of wine and just hang out.
Wine Collection of El Paseo: Six premium wine tasting rooms in the heart of the Historic Presidio downtown Santa Barbara. Also, the home of the Wine Cask restaurant and Intermezzo Wine Bar and Cafe.
Urban Wine Trail: A good map, showing all the great tasting rooms in downtown Santa Barbara.
Kunin: One of our favorites in the Funk Zone. Try their Pape Star Red.
Deep Sea: You can’t beat the view from here and the wines aren’t bad either. Located on Stearns Wharf.
Santa Barbara Winery: The oldest winery in Santa Barbara. We serve their Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc at our wine hour.
Wine Tour Companies
The best way to visit the valley, is to let someone else do the driving. There are several tour companies offering tours from Santa Barbara here are a couple of our guest’s favorites. They will pick you up and drop you off at the Inn.
